Manage topics
Organization administrators can view and manage the list of topics owned by the organization on the Topic management page.
To open the Topic management page, click the Settings icon in the lower left corner of the Typetalk app and select "Topics" in the "Manage Organization" section.
Export topic list
You can export a list of topics owned by your organization in CSV format. To export, click on the "Export" button next to the number of topics.
Note This feature is only available in the Standard plan.
The exported CSV contains the following data:
Column | Description |
Topic ID | ID that identifies the topic |
Topic name | The user's unique ID |
Author email | Email address of the user who created the topic |
Author unique ID | Unique ID of the user who created the topic |
Author name | Account name of the user who created the topic |
Archived | Topic archive status |
Created | Date and time the topic has been created |
Last posted | Date and time of the last post on the topic |
Export messages in a topic
You can export the messages in a topic in CSV format by clicking the "Export" button on the respective row of the topic list. Exporting topic messages can only be done if you’ve joined the topic.
Note This feature is only available in the Standard plan.
The exported CSV contains the following data:

Delete a topic
Topics can be deleted by clicking on the "Delete" button on the respective row of the topic list. An administrator can delete a topic even if they have not joined the topic.
